Dropped in today at 4:00 PM and what an absolute vibe. Tried their favourite Strawberry Matcha (zero sugar), veg house Salad, Pesto grilled Sandwiches, and a perfectly brewed Cappuccino .Every dish was low calorie ,fresh, yummy and packed with flavour , guilt free eating The Goan ambience, cosy sitting corners, and youthful splash of colours make the café a space you don’t just visit, you experience. Big shoutout to Merry & Diago – their warmth, professional body language, and ever-smiling approach made us feel completely at home. You can sense their intent of building the cafe . Das Café Ederra ist ein liebevoll geführtes, sehr sauberes und schön eingerichtetes Café. Die vegetarischen Sandwiches sind super lecker!! Wir haben hier auch übernachten und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Zimmer war ebenfalls sehr sauber und wir fanden es auch sehr gemütlich. Die Lage ist auch perfekt. Wir können das Café und das Hotel sehr empfehlen! ~ Pauline S

Visited this cute lil cozy cafe. The food here is really great. I had spicy chicken sandwich, pasteis de nata and a blueberry matcha. Food and desert was so so good. But the show stealer was definitely the matcha. As a matcha lover I’m quite specific about how my matcha should taste, and ederra didn’t disappoint. The sweetness was just right, the matcha to milk ratio was on point and the flavor bomb of blueberry just made everything better, if not actually the best. The staff is also very welcoming, patient and kind. Mary and Muskan provided us with great hospitality. I’d hundred percent recommend this place to everyone coming to fontainhas, as an explorer or just as a local. ~ Bineeta R

Perfect gem in old Portugese quarters of Goa Coffee is great but the specialty of the house are the home made cakes. Carrot cake is subliem. And there are always 3 smiling ladies : Mary, Muskan and Akshata Heel erg aan te raden als je in de buurt bent van deze mooie oude Portugese wijk !!! ~ Aw U

Cafe Ederra is a quaint cafe, tucked away in the corners of the famous Fontainhas area in Panjim. We were welcomed by the smiling staff members (Mary deserves a special mention here). Beautifully designed place, it offers a variety of food and rooms to stay (Airbnb). We tasted their coffee (both cortado and expresso) which was great. We also had chicken pesto sandwich amd hummus on toast. Again, both dishes didn't disappoint us. The pastéis de nata was a cherry on the top for us. The location of the cafe is fantastic, next to the very pretty buildings, and some galleries the area is famous for. ~ Uttara B

A really sweet and charming café - But what makes this place stand out is its reliability. In a region where rain often delays opening hours (for reasons that may not always be shared or clear), this spot was not only open on time, but fully ready. The hospitality was warm and friendly without trying too hard and—best of all—everything on the menu was actually available. The food was delicious—especially the garlic cream cheese Berliner, which hit all the right notes. The Portuguese egg tart (pastel de nata) was beautifully caramelized and genuinely appetizing. This stood in stark contrast to what we saw at a few other, more hyped cafés, where the tarts were a sickly pale yellow, left uncovered, with flies buzzing around—and this was at opening time, so clearly they’d been sitting out long enough to attract company. The cafe is really nice. I had lemon iced tea . it was really cool and perfect . I had heard from someone that this cafe is run by cute and lovely girls . and today I sas them too . They were having fun with each other . It filled the day . I will definitely visit this cafe again . Really great cafe with top-notch polite service. I was impressed with how they promptly greeted me and brought my coffee. I also had a cup from outside and the lady kindly offered to wash it for me which was kind and considerate. I also loved how wifi speeds were high and the cozy quaint interior was a comfortable environment to work in. Highly recommend for a drop-in. P.S. Espresso was great and Portuguese tart was as well. Would suggest heating up in an oven or air fryer as microwave didn’t do such a nice pastry justice. All good though! ~ Nader N

Beautiful little Airbnb with a cafe downstairs and 2 spacious, lovely rooms upstairs. Right in the nicest part of Fontainhas and next to many sights, restaurants and cafes. AC and en-suite bathroom. Balcony. Nice view into gardens. Absolutely clean. Safe food and drinks. A beatiful chill patio. But best of all: an incredibly nice and hospitable team that took great care of me as I was fighting a bad cold. Very grateful and would definitely come back! Had a wonderful experience at this café! The atmosphere is cozy, the food and coffee were delicious, and everything was served with great attention to detail. The cafe is tucked in a very quiet neighborhood of the old quarters. It’s very clean & spacious. It has a very good vibe & atmosphere. It has a very powerful A/C on a very hot day like today in Panjim, Goa, 33 C outside. Muskan, akshata and Merry who are the servers, were very accommodating & helpful. The food selections vary greatly from coffees & teas, patisserie, cakes, sandwiches both vegan & non-vegan, pasta, salads, smoothies. All in all, 10 out of 10. ~ Tino F

Stumbled Upon a Hidden Gem in Fontainhas! We found this café completely by accident while wandering through the charming lanes of Fontainhas—and what a find! We decided to try their carrot cake, and honestly, it was incredible. Soft, moist, perfectly spiced, and topped with just the right amount of frosting. It was so good that we couldn’t resist ordering one more slice before we left. Also the warm and very friendly people here!!! Total unexpected delight! ~ Aakhila M
